This publication for the comprehensive anniversary exhibition 300 YEARS OF VIENNA PORCELAIN MANUFACTURy at the MAK sheds light on the founding and history of Europe's second oldest porcelain factory after Meißen. Founded in 1718 with imperial privilege, it shaped European porcelain culture for almost 150 years.

The contributions by well-known scientists present major works by the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory in the light of new findings and discuss important topics in the development and reception of the Viennese Porcelain Manufactory.
